NYX Round Lipstick - Review!

Hey Beauts,

The thing I love most about beauty is lipstick. There are so many different shades of lipstick. So many different formulas. So many different brands. So many different names. and yet I want them all. I am on a conquest, I feel, to find the best lipsticks that I can.

This Nyx round lipstick definatly does not disappoint. This is one of my all time favourite lipsticks and yet it is the only Nyx round lipstick that I own. This saddens me. First of all, the colour, 'Chic Red', is a beautiful colour - absolutely stunning. I feel that for a bright red/pink it suits my skin tone perfectly and the blue undertones in it make my teeth look a lot whiter too. It applies really well as it is a nice and creamy formula that doesn't dry out the lips and to top it off, the last-ability of this is amazing. I can put this on before work in the morning, go to work, talk all day, eat lunch and once I am back in the car after work it will only just be fading in the center of my mouth. No jokes. It lasts so well and hardly bleeds around my lips at all. The formula is perfect. The pigmentation is great. The colour is stunning. I love this lipstick.

I will definatly be picking up more of these as soon as I can as they are so much easier to buy in the UK now as Boots have just started selling Nyx products online and these are a bargain at £4 each. I just won't be able to swatch them before I purchase them. But really, who can complain for £4. I bet they will be sold in Boots stores before we know it.

I seriously cannot wait to pick up more of these! How about you? Have you ever tried anything from the NYX brand? More specifically the round lipsticks? How did you feel about them and what shades do you own? I would love to hear your opinions and thoughts in the comments down below. 1. I've never tried them but for £4 I'm going straight over to the boots website now because I'm desperate for a descent red lipstick that doesn't cost the earth :) What's it's wear like ? Does it stay that shade through the day ? Before, I had a rid lipstick that turned bright pink through the day !

    1. It literally stays the exact same all day, the colour just fades a bit in the center of the lips around hour 8ish :) LOVE IT.

  2. I haven't tried any NYX lip products so far, but I have been meaning to pick up one of the matte lip creams for a start. Have you tried them?

  4. Oh I'll have to try this, it sounds perfect for me, especially with the blue undertones! I always eat a ton throughout the day, so a lipstick with as much lasting power as this would be perfect for me.

  7. I adore NYX Creamy Round lipsticks however I find that the darker shades perform better than the lighter ones such as pinks and corals which can be very patchy. Try the shade Chaos which is my favourite from the bunch. xx

  9. Great post! That is such a nice pigmentated shade because when you're getting a red lipstick, you don't want it to be a light pink because it's not bright enough haha.

  10. Hey! Great writing :) Sorry I haven't been so active on your blog lately - I've been super busy. A friend and I created an app called Watcher, it's a safety app for people who are afraid to walk home alone at night. Through some terrible experiences of my own (http://danikamaia.com/watcher-safety-app) I've learned you can never be too cautious and I'm super excited to share this new project! If you've every been scared walking home alone at night, I'd love if you could help me in spreading the word about Watcher so we can build a community of people looking out for each other.

    Best,
