KORRES Pomegranate Moisturising Cream-Gel - Review!

Hey Beauts,

So today I'm bringing you a review of the KORRES Pomegranate Moisturising Cream-Gel. I bought this product the other day when I popped up to Meadowhall in Sheffield from TK MAXX. This had a RRP of £19 but I managed to pick it up for £9.99.

Now the first thing that drew me to this product was the packaging. I am such a sucker for packaging. The box gave off a feel of recyclable, fresh and renew which led me to opening the box and finding this! The chunky glass jar is lovely and weighty, a beautiful lilac colour that again fitting in with the calm and natural theme that I'm getting from the packaging so far. The lid, although plastic is sturdy and just has a great almost rubbery feel to it. The thickness is a great accompaniment to the jar and the whiteness of the lid just adds to the overall composition of the product. The whole jar just has a very high end feel to the packaging that I really love and just makes me feel special for owning it and it looks gorgeous on the dresser.

I naughtily opened this product in the store, just to see what the cream looked like and what it smelt of. I don't think this cream has much of a scent, to me it just smells like a nice cream. It doesn't smell horrible but it doesn't smell of pomegranates either. I didn't want to stick my fingers in it either in case I didn't buy it but it wobbles like a thick cream would (Runny cream is too messy). I've now discovered (after purchasing it) that the consistency is very silky and just makes me feel a million dollars when massaging it into my skin.

When applying this to my face, I like to start in the middle and in circular motions going upwards move around my face. A little bit of this goes a very long way so you hardly need to use any meaning that you get more for the amount that you pay for the product. Now I really don't like it when your skin feels slimey and creamy after you've applied a cream but with this my skin soaks it straight up and just leaves my skin feeling radiant, fresh and very clean.

Lastly, this moisturiser is supposed to be used on combination to oily skin and I'd defianlty have to agree. I have a normal face with a greasy T-zone that can also get very, very dry and it works for me perfectly. I break out with a lot of products too and this is so sensitive on the skin that it hasn't broken me out once - yet! I've been using it for two weeks now and I'm defiantly going to have to re-purchase this when I run out (and pay the full £19 this time!). I highly recommend this to anyone and think it would work really well for any skin type.

What's your favourite moisturiser? Have you tried this? If not, do you think you'll try it after this review? I honest think it's great. Definatly a purchase on a whim without many reviews at all out there on it! If you enjoyed this post and want to hear more from me, remember to follow on GFC and Bloglovin'! <3

  1. What a bargain! It sounds a delight to use. Do you use it as a night-cream or a moisturiser in the morning before you put your makeup on? I currently use Simple Vital Vitamin night-cream and a cheap Boots moisturiser for dry skin in the morning. I would be interested in trying this cream out but not at £19, that's just too much for me :(. Unless it really lasts a long time and it's good value for money.

    1. I use it as a night cream. I can't find anywhere on the product if it's supposed to be a night or day cream. I think I'd use if for both except I never use day cream, I always forget!

  7. Ooh this sounds great! My skin's a lot like yours - combination, sensitive and prone to break outs. The only moisturiser I've found so far that doesn't cause my skin to break out is The Body Shop's Tea Tree Night Cream, so I've taken to using it in the daytime too!

  8. Wow you got a steal on this product for sure! It sounds like we have pretty similar skin. My skin gets oily in my t-zone but also dry as well. I just don't get it! haha.
